Percy Wilton Davidson

Percy Wilton Davidson, 84, of Rustburg died Monday in Lynchburg General Marshall Lodge Hospital after a long illness. Twice married, his first wife was the late Mrs. Lottie Foster Davidson and his second wife is Mrs. Kate Mitchell Davidson.
Born in Bedford county, he was the son of John H. Davidson and Mrs. Emma Barricks Davidson. He was a retired druggist, a justice of the peace in Rustburg, a member of Mackey Lodge No.69 in Rustburg for 62 years and a member of Providence United Methodist Church.
Besides his widow he is survived by two sons, Percy W. Davidson, Jr. John L. Davidson both of Rustburg; four daughters, Mrs. Lyle Torrence of Rustburg, Mrs. Harold Hudson, Mrs. John Hudson, both of Lynchburg, Mrs. Herman Frazier of Naruna, three step daughters, Mrs. Mattie Wray, Mrs. Wesley Kerr, both of Gladys, Mrs. Annie Denton of Florida, one brother John E. Davidson of Lynchburg; two sisters, Mrs. Richard Finch of Lynchburg, Mrs. Frank Sanifer, of Victoria; 14 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 4:00 p. m. Wednesday at Diuguid's Memorial Chapel by the Rev.'s Frank Baker and John L. Suttenfield. Burial will be in the Rustburg Cemetery with Masonic rites.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p. m. today and at other times at the home of Mrs. John Hudson, 800 Perrymont Ave.
