Nannie Kerr Morris
Nannie Kerr Morris, 89, of Gladys, died Thursday, Jan. 31, 2002 at Avante at Lynchburg. She was the wife of the late George M. Morris Sr.
Born Dec. 11, 1912 in Campbell County, she was a daughter of the late George Kerr and Fannie Booker Kerr. She was a member of Wesleybury United Methodist Church.
She is survived by one son, George M. Morris Jr. and his wife, Martha of Appomattox; four brothers, Richard Kerr of Victoria, Wesley Kerr, Harry Kerr both of Gladys and Carlton Kerr of Altavista; one sister, Margaret Brown of Gladys; two grandchildren, Cindee Roach and her husband, Randy of Glen Allen and Nancy Lawrence and her husband, Ed of Richmond and two great-grandchildren, Courtney and Haley Lawrence.
A funeral service will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 3, 2002 in Wesleybury United Methodist Church by the Rev. Charles Langley and Dr. William H. Pollok. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 7-8:30 p.m. today at Finch & Finch Inc. Funeral and Cremation Service, Gladys.
